Responsibilities:
Routine Maintenance: with approval of the Operations Director, oversee the scheduling and execution of regular maintenance tasks for all building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural elements.
Repairs: Coordinate and manage emergency and scheduled repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to facility operations.
Inspections: Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance staff and office security providing direction, support, and performance evaluations.
Training: Ensure that all team members are adequately trained in safety protocols, maintenance procedures, and the use of equipment.
Scheduling: Develop and manage work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of personnel.
Operational Efficiency: Implement and oversee processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of facility operations.
Energy Management: Monitor and manage energy usage to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
Compliance: Ensure that all facility operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
Budget Planning: Assist in the preparation of the facilities budget, including capital expenditure and operating costs.
Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and service providers, ensuring cost-effective and timely services.
Project Management: Plan and manage facility improvement projects, from initial concept through to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
Space Planning: Work with internal stakeholders to plan and manage space utilization and layout changes to meet evolving organizational needs.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and other facility-related data.
Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on facility operations, budget status, and project progress to senior management.
Compliance Documentation: Ensure all necessary documentation for compliance with regulatory requirements is up-to-date and readily available for inspections.
Contracts: Ensure all the facility third-party services have a contract and keep the update of them.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/College Degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field.
Proficient in English and Spanish languages
At least 3-years experience in administration of facility maintenance or any satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, architectural lighting, plumbing, physical plant etc. sufficient to provide basic diagnostic and supervision, for contracted system vendors.
Ability to read blueprints/ground plans/as built documentations and make small edits/updates as necessary.
Sound ability to interpret printed or electronic maintenance manuals.
Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles.
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
Able to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Horario:
De Lunes a Viernes de 10am a 7pm.
