¿Qué esperamos de ti?

• Degree in Business Administration, Economy, Finance, Industrial Engineer; MBA or CFA is a plus

• Experience: At least 6 years of relevant experience in loan origination and/or Investment Banking

• Ability to manage and develop relationships and originate transactions with key clients and stakeholders, at the highest level of seniority and position (i.e. “C” levels, Board members) both locally and abroad

• Strong written and oral communications skills in English and Spanish, in order to coordinate with international stakeholders in NY and Toronto

• Experience leading complex structured finance transactions such as Acquisition Financing and Project Finance, to expand Investment Banking product’s portfolio

• Ability to identify cross sell opportunities for Investment Banking products related to M&A and DCM.

·Leads and drives a customer focused culture throughout their team to deepen relationships with Corporate Banking customers and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

·Identifies opportunities for structured finance transactions for Corporate Banking customers, such as Term Loans, Financial Leasing, Leaseback, Syndicated Loans, Project Finance, Acquisition Financing, among others.

·Lead, manage, develop, and mentor the Senior Associates, Associates and Analysts in daily duties and ensuring that the team is high-performing, well-motivated, innovative, and is committed to the success of the area

·Explains and supports the Investment Banking products to the Corporate Banking Client’s Senior Officers and Management Teams.

·Structures, quotes, and negotiates – together with Senior Associates, Associates and Analysts – Term Sheets related to the transactions for Corporate Banking customers

·Presents and supports the transactions to ICCB, Local Credit and weekly pipeline meetings to Banking and Credit Senior Officers

·Supervises the approval process and supports Credit Solutions on the preparation of the approval request, in order that Terms and conditions closed with the customers are met. Additionally, supports the transaction to GRM / Local Credit and negotiates with the customers if any additional condition is requested after approval.

·Identifies cross-sell opportunities during the structuring process, to maximize the overall ancillary business of the transaction

·Supervises and negotiates the loan documentation with Corporate customers and their Legal Advisors (e.g. credit and collateral agreements under both Peruvian and NY Law), supporting the Senior Associate, Associates and Analysts in their transactions, and overseeing the disbursement process

·Leads the weekly pipeline review for Corporate Banking and acts on behalf the Structured Lending Director if necessary.

·Follows up each transaction of the team, and ensures that each Senior Associate, Associate or Analyst complies with the guidelines of the bank and the area, to achieve a successful closing of each transaction.

·Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

·Creates an environment in which the team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
