Overview:

The Research and Insight Analyst role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to advance their skills in data-driven digital marketing. This data-focused role involves collaborating with clients on data strategy, onboarding, and insights. You’ll coordinate internally with operations, analysts, and client teams. As a Senior Analyst, you’ll lead discussions on data strategies and DMP implementations with clients, develop data targeting and optimization strategies for assigned accounts, and work closely with programmatic buying teams to ensure proper implementation.

This client-facing role requires effective communication of technical concepts to assigned clients, ensuring account success and customer satisfaction. You’ll also gain knowledge of various DSP and DMP platforms, attend training sessions with vendors, and communicate internally about their strengths and weaknesses.

Responsibilities:

- Manage data strategy for programmatic advertising clients and communicate strategies and recommendations using a consultative approach.
- Collaborate with Data Management Platform (DMP) partners to manage day-to-day onboarding of client data.
- Leverage data to assess, diagnose, and prescribe campaign optimizations to exceed client expectations.
Extract valuable insights from data and effectively communicate them to clients in relation to their goals and objectives. Share results from audience analytics reports with clients when available.

Attend training sessions with various vendors to inquire about data and platform capabilities.

Assist in developing client-facing materials, including data strategy presentations and audience performance reports.

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the client’s business objectives and demonstrate how data targeting can help them achieve their goals through campaign results.

Participate in team meetings and knowledge sessions to share new strategies for targeting campaigns and provide feedback on platform and data performance.

Qualifications

- Fluent English correspondence at a B2 level (mandatory)
- Advanced Excel skills
- No prior experience required; preference for prior digital advertising experience in a client services capacity, hands-on knowledge of the DSP/DMP landscape, and a passion for data-driven advertising and insights
- Experience managing Online Display, Video, and Mobile campaigns
- Understanding and experience with DSPs, DMPs, 3rd-party data, pixels, and Ad Servers
- Familiarity with customer acquisition goals and optimizing to CPA, CTR, Completion Rate, etc.
- Strong analytical skills, technical knowledge, and strategic thinking
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow projects through to completion
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office solutions
- Highly organized with good attention to detail
