What are we looking for?



We are looking for an experienced and skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent position for people who enjoy working on the full cycle of automated testing — creating a strategy, writing a plan, creating and executing tests, finding regressions, logging and verifying bugs, and creating comprehensive historical records of testing activities are all part of being successful in this position.



Challenges:



Work collaboratively with stakeholders across engineering projects to improve quality of digital assets while reducing the time to market
Design, own, deliver and execute test plans for Belcorp’s core platforms and experiences
Develop and maintain a robust library of test cases for both new and existing features
Design and execute regression test plans on an ongoing basis
Work with other members of the Engineering team to ensure that testing is complete and thorough before launching.
Provide immediate feedback to software developers and work with them to improve the product.
Work with Engineering team to isolate and reproduce defects across all parts of the system.
Build automated test suites that cover core business flows and data pipeline processes that lead to accurate business results.
Collaborate with Product Owners and others to identify and write clear, concise, and detailed acceptance criteria for new features and functionality
Collaborate with CloudOps team on pipeline automation such as CI and CD
Leverage and reuse standards, QA best practices, tools and processes
Be an active member of the QA Community of Belcorp
This is a full-time position based in Peru or Colombia with option to work remotely



Qualifications:



3+ years of Experience with Software Quality Assurance methodologies and practices
Experience designing and developing robust and scalable automation frameworks using industry best practices with custom web application and mobile application
Experience developing automated test and test suite automation using object oriented scripting languages
Organizational skills to capture and record detailed and accurate information about bugs and systemic issues
Knowledge of test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases and debugging.
Experience with test-driven development environment, dealing with code refactoring and code bottleneck issues; and Behavior Driven Development
Experience with performance test and tools
Familiar with Jira, SonarQube, Jenkins, GitHub and Gherkin
Experience with RESTful APIs
Strong knowledge of at least one automation tool, such as: Cucumber / CodecepJS / Selenium / Appium
Strong knowledge of at least one performance tool, such as: SOAPUI / Postman
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, related technical fields experience or equivalent practical experience.
